Pomatomus : WIP

I've wanted to update more frequently this week, but Matt and I have been so busy and I haven't had access to the laptop. Needless to say my computer in its agedness nearly exploded when I attempted at an update.

So enough of that and on to the crafty! This is my first pair of socks - Pomatomus from Knitty. They're coming along nicely. They are being modeled in the first picture by one of my fave posessions, my Clara matroyshka doll. My mom bought me a set of vintage Nutcracker themed matroyshkas a long time ago, and they all grace the window sill in my kitchen. Maybe someday I'll post the whole set :)

Christmas crafting is also coming along. I scored 3lbs of beeswax on eBay for twenty-five dollars for homemade candles, which seemed to go over well last year, and personal gifts are on the way to be done. My mum is coming over today and we're going to make our lists and then head over to JoAnns - because they're having a huge coupon sale - YAY! Should be a nice little Sunday...
