What I've been up to

Holy cow eleven days without blogging! Life has just been so busy as of late, but in a good way. This is going to be a boring post without pictures, because I am too tired to figure out how to upload off of my dad's camera that I have temporarily stolen...I'm so excited for tomorrow! I'm hosting a craft up meeting with a few girls from work and from Craftster that I've never met before! I've so wanted a crafty group to go to in New Hampshire for the longest time and maybe tomorrow will be the beginning!

Tomorrow will be busy with cleaning up the house. I've already started by sprucing up the kitchen with a fifteen dollar Ebay score - so I lied - here's a picture:

Can I say SCORE! I was so thrilled to find this online, because it was actually featured in an interior design book that I own as a bedspread instead of a tablecloth - and I just think the print is so divine!

Speaking of divine, when my camera is working I have to post pictures of my loot from the Mag Swap. My partner was Gemma, who is officially awesome as decreed by me. Not only did she get me two great mags - she sent tea, biscuits, chocolate with ginger pieces (how did she know?), and a wonderful stuffed tea cup that is now gracing my sewing table. I've been a bad lazy partner coming off of my wedding. But I'd rather be late than not send a nice package and I can't wait to see what Gemma thinks of her goodies.

I've also signed up for the Vintage Button Swap over at Shim and Sons. SO excited for that. I'm going shopping at the Blacksmith Mall in Ogunquit this weekend to pick out some special lovelies. I'll be much more on top of this swap - I will!

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about how I could be using this blog as a tool for creativity. This is a very blabby post. Oh and other random news I've been working very hard on some new cool Bonnie Bands for the SHOP. I finally sold my first item on Etsy, and boy does it feel great! Thanks, Amy.
