I'm back

Well that was a good little break! Progress has been made, rooms have been cleaned, mail has been sent, projects have been sewn. I've found a few links in the past few days that I'd like to share: Tree Fall Design and LFN Textiles via Whip Up. Tree Fall is a lovely blog and I've been checking out all of the inspiring pictures in the archives...and LFN Designs has gorgeous ribbon. I found another great ribbon resource via Soulemama, Les Bon Ribbon - they carry more vintage-y things. I've also fallen under the spell of Kitty Craft , a superb source for Japanese fabric and craft projects.

This is a little pendant that I bought myself from Bethany Cooper Design. I also bought a mermaid pendant (which I'll post a picture of later), I've pretty much worn that one every day since it came in the mail. Also a strawberry pendant for my mum to match her new headband that I gave her for mother's day. (See a previous post).

Here's my baaaaaby. Isn't he a cutie? Last night the Swaggerin' Growlers had a show at the Barley Pub in Dover. I hadn't been there in a really long time and I took advantage of the access to some tasty Guinness. I took a whole bunch of pictures of the show and they came out really well. This is just one of many that I'll likely be putting onto Flickr soon. I love taking pictures of the band, and I'm not going to lie, being "with the band" at a gig makes me feel a little bit like I'm living out my "Almost Famous" dream. Ha!

Well that's all for tonight. I have to be up early in the am to teach the wee ones at some random location since the studio is flooded. Oh yeah... the studio is flooded...but that is way too long a story to get into at this hour. Hopefully I'll get to sleep soon cuddling with either Matt or Cassie, because as you can see she loves to cuddle with her mum. She's such a sweetie in the picture!
