Speaking of bees - I finished listening to "The Secret Life of Bees" on CD a few days ago - and the book kept me enthralled the whole time. I was a little skeptical of books on tape - I feel like the world has enough literacy problems as it is... - but the narration was so awesome I felt like I was listening to a story being told to me around a camp fire. I highly recommend this narration and superb book.

I've been a busy bee - because I am FINALLY going to send out my Princess Bride Swap package. One of the last things that I was working on is a headband - in place of Wesley's black mask, (it's the girly version of being a pirate). I am stoked about the results. I loosely based this headband design on a picture that I saw on a French blog. However mine definitely came out with my own style and I think I may make a bunch of these for myself. It's going to be hard giving this one away! This might be a fun item for me to sell too...hmm...

I also went back to working at The Ogunquit Playhouse again. I love working there, especially this summer, because I'm working with two of the same women that I worked with last year, and they were the two that I got along with best. We seem to have a nice co-workerly camraderie that just makes being there pleasant...Also getting comp tickets to the Broadway quality shows rules :)

I'll end this post with two tidbits of news, one good/one bad. Good: Going over Anna's to have tea with her and her mother tomorrow. Bad: I think my car has shit the bed.
