October 24, 2005- 11:41am: Been feeling a little cranky lately. I haven't posted any crafty goodness, because I took on a last minute freelance job to be prop master for 'To Kill a Mockingbird" at Seacoast Rep. I couldn't say no to the dinero, but I'm nervous about doing the job well, since I've never worked in props before! It's fun though, basically crafting/shopping within a budget/constraints. Anyways, it has pushed me back on my crafting, and I'm horribly behind on a few swaps that I'm in for Craftster/Glitter. I HATE sending out late - it makes me feel like such a slacker! And besides being behind on that, I'm behind on Christmas gifts as well, which I just don't know how I am going to finish before baby Liam arrives. Oh dear... |

October 22, 2005- 12:12am: I was just taking a peek at the new goods that Blissen has to offer, and I shouldn't have! Now I have a Blissen want list (and no money): 2006 Under the Sea Wall Calendar, Under the Sea Make Your Own Mobile Kit (for Liam's room) and The Jill Bliss Bunny Baby Onesie (for Liam). Le sigh... |

October 11, 2005 -11:58pm: Random link via Bust: Blend Creations I really like these little penguin cards 10:51pm: I'm desperately trying to understand how to design forms...and CGI-script, after many mind boggling hours of study, is completely baffling me! Anyone want to help? I just want people to be able to leave me comments, sniff-sniff. Saturday was absolutely amazing. I went to the RISD Alumni Art Sale with Matt, and bought the last little blue monkey from Teresa of Sewing Stars. He'll be a very nice fixture on Liam's crib. There was crafty inspiration everywhere! Some of the super cool things I saw were T-shirts from Strongie Designs, Lamps made out of cocktail umbrellas from Bright Lights Little City and adorable dolls and children's books from Wee Folk Studio. We also checked out awesome vintage/kitschy shopping at Angell Street Curiosities and Ragtime. |
