Advent Day 16 :: Crazy? Or crazy awesome?
I have been wanting to take a picture of this house for weeks, and oh, I am so glad that I did...

Best viewed in all of its glory large here.
The walk to this house tonight afforded me a new level of appreciation for house decorating. Not only is this house using enough electricity to power a small country, but IT PLAYS MUSIC TOO. I especially enjoy the lights programmed to blink in rhythm with said music. The Virgin Mary flashing in turn with the Tasmanian Devil dressed as Santa Claus to a plinky plonky rendition of 'Winter Wonderland' was the real kicker.
I took my pictures like a sly paparazzi photographer and giggled all the way home.
What do you think? Crazy? Or crazy awesome? I'm leaning towards the former!

Sue
VIVA LA MANGER!!!!!! I love it!
imagine what the inside looks like!
Sarah, this is crazy awesome! Why? Because someone else is doing it and not ME. It makes me giggle and shake my head...and wish I had the Tazmanian Devil for my own.
Oh man! We have one of those up the street. While I appreciate some holiday spirit, I hate the wasting of electricity and I also cringe at the icky yard sale mish-mash of koo-koo goin' on there! I do, however, really like that retro cursive "Merry Christmas"; that and maybe some window candles, a few lighted snowflakes, and lights around the porch would've been a good place to STOP! :)
I almost thought you were in my area, I had to see. This looks just like a crazy house I take my kids to every year!
Wow!!! I lerve it!!!
This house screams's National Lampoon's Christmas vacations! ^-^
Are you not afraid that theses people live near you? ;-)
Yep, crazy! But then I've been a little grinchy of late. Kids love this kind of thing but then they love to cover everything with glitter.
I wonder if the inside is plain and minimalist as everything has been thrown at the outside of the house!
We had a house like that where I grew up. Only the yard was WAY bigger so there was enough electricity used to power a large city. I'm leaning towards the former as well.
What fun, would never have all that going on my yard, but enjoy it when others do! I'm curious about the inside too.
Happy holidays and warm wishes!
