Advent Day 13 :: A Damned Unlucky Number
"What's with today, today?" to quote one of the greatest movies of my youth, Empire Records.
Today I accidentally ruined two Christmas gifts that I had been working on for months. First there was hysterical laughter which devolved into tears.
Then Matt and I went out and bought ourselves movies and burritos.
Then I made myself a hot chocolate with fresh whipped cream and amaretto, as suggested by CRAFT blog. It was delicious, and I feel mildly better.
Today was a new low. Never before has a failed craft project reduced me to a sobbing mess. I'll share the gory photos with you tomorrow. You will laugh, it is quite funny. Now I'm just not sure what my niece and nephew are getting for Christmas :/
