Move Furniture, Unpack Boxes, Put Away, Repeat

I am *exhausted*, but progress is being made on the new place.

To give you an idea of the chaos, yesterday my dining room looked like this:

Not such a nice view!

See? Chaos.

Matt and I have been moving furniture, unpacking boxes, putting stuff away and repeating since last Wednesday night. We are absolutely pooped. Thank goodness today is a holiday here in the U.S. because we definitely need this extra day! Not that I'm deluding myself that the whole apartment is going to be set up today, because minimalists WE ARE NOT, my friends. However, we are hoping to have at the very least the kitchen, the living room and the bedroom 100% set up. The living room is 99% there, minus any art on the walls, and the kitchen is done. Today, hopefully, we'll finish up the bedroom.

Then I will share pictures. Until then, check out the view from our balcony!

Room with a view

I didn't quite catch it here, but this view is so beautiful when the sun sets. The light hits the houses in a certain way and it's just lovely.

I like living here already.

So now you live even further away from me? :( Oh, poo! Looks nice though, and I'm glad it's a move because your dreams are coming true! Miss you!

OK, from the look of that picture, you are living in SF?

I grew up there, and I miss it so much.

Man, moving is so exhausting. We had a 30+ hour reorg in our garage this past weekend, and I decided that we shall never move again :)

I wish you blessings and joy in this new home, and I hope that it is all that you wanted :)

OK, that is why I recognize it, it is Boston, not SF. I am originally from Brockton, so I think that I just got one neighborhood confused with the other :)
