Birthday Thrift Smorgasbord
Hello dear friends!
I've been MIA the past few days because last Friday was my birthday. I've just been having way to much fun to sit down and actually write about it!
My entire birthday celebration basically revolved around going on a massive thrifting spree. It will take me days to share with you my newest goodies, and to tell you about my party. Plus I'm moving, TOMORROW, so internet access may be spotty at best, not sure yet! Anyways (ramble, ramble, ramble) what I'm trying to say is bear with me!
Here are some of my birthday prezzies, which are sure to find special places in my new abode...

And the crowning achievement of the thrifting trip...a full set of Pyrex Gooseberry mixing bowls
I'm so excited to have a sturdy set of mixing bowls, which my kitchen has been lacking for some time. Also, this pattern matches two small round casseroles that I inherited from my Memere, so I officially have a collection of a particular pattern instead of just a mish-mash. Not that there is anything wrong with a mish-mash of Pyrex!

Those bowls!!!! I have one! A pink with white design and I love it. Sadly it hardly ever comes up here in the UK.

And the table cloth - I am sure either my great grand mother or my aunt had one almost exactly the same. Had such a deja vu experience when the image popped up!
