A Mix for Renee : The Nomads Are Settling Down

I love making mixes.



I've probably written that very opening sentence at least ten times in the history of G+N. It's so true though! I love the challenge of taking your musical tastes and morphing them into a format that will be well received by the intended recipient. I agonize over choosing songs, the song placement - whether everything flows well. Usually, I create some sort of story line (fictional or not), that the play list will follow. I obsess.

This mix was no different. I'd say that it took me a good two and a half weeks. It's not really "birthday" oriented. It's a little twangy and wistful. Excellent "car concert" material. I hope Renny loves it.
