WIP :: Skully Fake Isle Hat

skully fake isle in the works

I've been squeezing in some crafty time over the past few days. I'm working on this hat for the hubby for Christmas. The pattern is Amy King's Fake Isle Hat from the now defunct MagKnits (sniff, sniffle). I'm substituting the center chart with the skully one found here. My version is nowhere near as cute as Tess' or Roe's, but I'm trying to stash bust the acrylic wonderland living in my craft closet!

Super great things that you should check out:

* Sister Diane's latest podcast Men Who Craft. I love what her guest Digibudi has to say about life and craft.

* The latest Shopping Green article on Etsy's Storque is so much more than product placement, the narrative is right on about changes that we must make as a society for a greener planet!

* The first, relatively close, farmer's market of the season kicks off tomorrow in Newburyport, MA. My locavore heart is skipping beats over here!
