Why I Have Not Been Blogging
Oh my, where did the days go? I've been tremendously busy the past few days. Firstly, I put in an application to be a juried teaching artist with my state's arts council. If accepted I could possibly get a greater amount of work in my state's school system - more dance for all! The application process was daunting. Eight essay questions, resume, video samples of my work, three confidential recommendations - I pulled an all-nighter editing it and putting the finishing touches on everything, before driving it to the capital. Exhaustion definitely ensued after that!
The other thing - even bigger if you can believe it - is that I have a show opening on Saturday!

If you are local, I would love it if you came out and supported this event! The last piece in the show is a collaboration with the Funky Divas of Gospel, and it is the largest thing that I have ever choreographed. I'm nervous/excited at the same time!
