The good thoughts from across the universe must have done a little bit of good, because in a lovely turn of events the hospital decided that my Memere is well enough to go back to rehab! She likes it much better there, because she gets to get dressed in the morning and eat normal meals and be social with other people. I'm cautiously optimistic, a) because she IS 91 and b) there is still the threat that her heart will give out again, but at least for the time being she is able to be in a place where she is happier and more comfortable.
