Happy New Years!

Happy New Years everyone! I have such high hopes for 2008!

I'm really tired right now from all of the New Year's Eve festivities, and travelling, but I wanted to get a post in today. I'm considering trying to participate in Blog 365 this year. I feel almost assuredly that I will fall off the bandwagon on THAT one, but it might be nice incentive to try and blog everyday.

I managed to drag myself out of bed to see something so cool today...The Metropolitan Opera is broadcasting certain productions from their season at movie theatres all over the United States. The highest quality opera, affordable tickets, right in your hometown. You can get more information here. Today I saw Hansel and Gretel, which was just great. The production was modernized from the traditional fairy tale, and it came off as a creepy crawly kind of Sweeney Todd for children, if that makes any sense! I'm really looking forward to upcoming productions, and learning more about opera.

That's it for me today. I still have so many photos to upload from my trip and so many things to say, resolutions to make and break, but I'll save it for tomorrow!
