Roooooooosebuuuuuuuuud!
"Roooooooosebuuuuuuuuud! "
Yeah. You know Citizen Kane's famous death rattle? That's kind of what I feel/sound like today. Needless to say I skipped work and stayed home.
Things that make me feel better:

* Jolly Ollie from Me and Ollie's Bakery

* Finished scarf four - one more before le mucho anticipated shop update!

* Carrot Ginger Soup
Olive oil
One large onion
A bunch of carrots - I used six
4 inch piece of ginger (I used A LOT, because I am sick. If you don't like your soup with a lot of ginger heat use an inch an a half long piece)
4 cups of chicken stock
In a large pot saute onion over medium heat. Add sliced carrots and ginger and cook until ginger is fragrant, about five minutes. Pour stock over mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer until carrots are tender, about twenty minutes. Blend in batches. Serve with a dollop of creme fraiche or yogurt if you like.
* The Music Mamas Blog makes me happy.
Okay, time for tea I think.
