These shoes look pretty harmless, but they are fiendishly uncomfortable when you're standing in them for seven hours straight, in full early 19th century costume. My whole body hurts - can't...formulate...post. I need a good calf massage! It was all for a good cause, but I'll come back and talk about it tomorrow.
