Tea Party!

I found out about the tea party at the last moment, so I am arriving in my pajamas. Late and unfashionable! Harumpf! I'm drinking lemon jasmine tea today. An online tea party is such the perfect thing for me, because the hubby and I are tea fanatics. So much so that I dropped a hefty amount of moolah on buying some fancy schmancy teas for him for Christmas at Licorice and Sloe. You must check this place out if you live in New Hampshire/Massachusetts. It's in Newburyport, MA, and it's a tea house! There are about a zillion varieties of tea which you can get with a scone with devonshire cream. Yum yum! They even have tea tastings! These people are as serious about tea as some people are about wine. Very interesting - Matt and I might go down for a tasting ourselves one day soon.

Like I said, I'm in my pjs so I decided to forgo the formal teaware and drink from one of my favorite comfort mugs. This Edward Gorey illustration is very appropriate for how I'm feeling today. My muscles have been pulled in 20 directions dancing this week. I've been taking class four days a week and teaching five days a week. I'm loving it, but my body is hating it! Haha - I'm so sore! Time to snuggle down onto the couch and sip on some hot comfort tea...
