Wrapping things up
This is Matt and I at the King's of Nuthin' show on Sunday. The Growlers played two sets in a row that day headlining for an all ages early show and opening for the Kings of Nuthin'. Matt bought one of their CDs for me and I'm not regretting the purchase. Awesome, fun, loud rockabilly. I love this picture of us. We infrequently have a camera with us while other people are around, so we have very few pictures of the two of us together, aside from our wedding pictures. Today I squeezed my husband extra tight as he told me the news of James Kim's body being found. My heart goes out to Kati and her little girls. I just can't even fathom losing my husband at thirty years old. It makes me want to make the most of every single day that Matt and I have together!

On to happier things...My mum came over today and we worked on crafty stuff. I started wrapping things up to temporarily put things under our tree before they get shipped off to family members across the country. I've gone temporarily insane this year and have decided to stamp my wrapping paper. Crazy...mmm, yes. But I think it's pretty! These are the "Pamper Packs" that I created for my nieces. Each contains a rice filled eye pack, lip glosses, sparkly topcoat nail polish and lavender sparkle soap. So fun and girly and sparkle filled! I hope that they go over well. I'm so happy with how cute they look wrapped up!
