Amelie Hat

I made a hat just like this one a few months back for an "Amelie" Swap on Craftster. My friend Shannon just about stole it right out of its packaging. In fact she insisted on wearing it out to a party we were going to, so I washed it before sending. Terrible, I know. So I knew that this Christmas the perfect gift for her would be another hat. Another fight with novelty yarn! It's so difficult to knit with and I still have scads of it! But I must admit, the result is a soft and lovely hat. And who knew my desk lamp was such a great hat model?

P.S. Big store update tomorrow, many many many Christmas ornaments, a baby blanket and a nifty reversible beret. All compliments of my mum this time, she's hip to the trip!
